Our unique private school experience is a place where each student is seen and feels heard. We guide students in finding their own path to success through our high quality academic dual program consisting of Jewish Studies and General Studies. We combine differentiated instruction, specialty electives, and Jewish identity to build our students' self-confidence, empathy and pride in community. Martin J. Gottlieb Day School graduates have been admitted to the advanced-studies high school programs of their choice, including Stanton College Prep IB, Paxon School for Advanced Studies IB, Mandarin High School AICE, the Bolles School, Samuel Wolfson School for Advanced Studies IB and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts.

Our students have been accepted to Brandeis University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Emory University, Florida State University, Harvard University, Jewish Theological Seminary Joint Program, Princeton University, Syracuse University, University of Florida, University of Pennsylvania, Yeshiva University among others.

Our curriculum is elevated by our school's Jewish identity including the idea that self-discovery requires community-discovery. We challenge students to embody the Jewish spirit by thinking outside of themselves and their classroom. By combining lessons from the Torah, mitzvah projects and compassionate communication, we provide students with the self-confidence and skills to become leaders and mensches.

Making Mensches

The Mitzvah Program is a hallmark of attending Martin J. Gottlieb Day School. Our middle schoolers engage and grapple with Jewish texts, laws and customs — and, each week, they have an opportunity to translate their lessons into action.

Tikkun olam (repair the world) is a critical focus here. Every Friday, students across the middle school devote two and a half hours to hands-on projects dedicated to improving their local and global communities. We teach them to understand their responsibility to others and their ability to make a difference at any age. From packing food at food banks, to visiting seniors, to working with animal rescues, our students learn real-life lessons about how one person’s impact can change the world.
