Message from Head of Schools

"It is my pleasure to welcome you to Laurie Preschool and Martin J. Gottlieb Day School, a Jewish school community dedicated to nurturing and inspiring preschool through eighth grade students."
"We welcome children from every Jewish affiliation to join a learning community that inspires deep engagement and high achievement. Our dual curriculum provides an exceptional standards-based general education as well as a hands-on and meaningful Jewish education. Our bilingual curriculum allows students to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. The educational journey begins in our early childhood program, where Jewish traditions, values, and celebrations are seamlessly infused into the curriculum. 

We approach teaching and learning by continuously asking, What is best for the child? Our students are supported by inspiring and caring teachers who work in partnership with families to best meet the needs of each child. Students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and to develop the skills necessary to succeed beyond the classroom. Ultimately, we aim to instill a love of lifelong learning and intellectual curiosity in our students.
