MEANINGFUL & EFFECTIVE STUDENT SUPPORT
Through our EPIC program we are proud to offer Jacksonville students the support and care they need to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom. We have implemented this approach at both DuBow Preschool and Martin J. Gottlieb Day School.
EPIC is a program provided by Jewish Family and Community Services that integrates support services into your students’ classrooms. EPIC spans the full preschool-through-eighth-grade spectrum of needs from identifying young children who may be in need of early intervention to guiding students toward independence in preparation for high school.
HOW DOES THE EPIC PROGRAM WORK?
We believe that students should be able to participate in their preferred school regardless of diagnoses or academic achievement. Some of the ways EPIC assists both parents and students at DuBow Preschool and Martin J. Gottlieb Day School include:

Observations within the learning environment to pinpoint needs

Assistance in locating evaluation services

Opportunities for one-on-one or small group work with EPIC staff

One-on-one, small group or whole class counseling lessons

Monthly communication on student progress
